New York Times today published the 6th series article on China environmental crisis in economic development. It is about a special kind of turtle, the soft-shell turtle. There are only two such turtles left in the Yangtze River. The most interesting thing is that New York Times also attached the Chinese translation and Mandarin audio for this report. Neat, you don't need to be able to speak English but you can still live in the USA well. USA speaks many languages,English, Spanish, French, German and now Chinese(Mandarin and Cantonese) I think it is also a good news to many North American Chinese like me and my sisters, whose Chinese ability is losing.

纽约时报今天发表了中国在经济崛起过程中的环境问题系列文章的第6篇。关于一种神奇的乌龟，叫做软壳龟（其实就是老鳖）。长江流域目前仅剩2只这样的乌龟。最为有趣的是，纽约时报附上了中文的翻译和普通话的录音。太好了，你在美国不会说英语也不要紧。美国使用各种各样的语言，英语，西班牙语，法语，德语，中文(普通话和广东话)。这对于像我和我妹妹这样生活在北美的华人来说是一个好消息，我们的中文能力正在下降。
